Various types of process piping such as lye pipes may become clogged during use. Piping can accumulate sediments that are extremely hard and can block flow almost entirely.
Blockages can be removed with high-pressure cleaning and various special water hydraulic nozzles. Piping need not be dismantled because the method allows the cleaning of very long sections. The duration of stoppages and disruptions to processes can be minimised.
